This book gives me the chills as i read it! it‘s a very powerful read. It tackles tough subjects that relate to real world problems. Melinda Sordino dealt with a lot going through this high school, her dad was an alcoholic, she got sexually assulted at a freshman party. Kids at her school bullied her and she didn‘t know how to cope with it as she began to isolate herself. This powerful story has an important lesson: Never be afraid to speak up!!

kcaffyn5 The genre of this book is realistic fiction. I recommend this book to anyone that likes books about teenagers stressful life‘s and exspecially too anyone that has dealt with some traumatic events, or anyone who is healing from a traumatic past. I think this book will give people motivation to stick up for their selfs! 💗 5y

This is one of my favourite books. It is for sure such an emotional read. It‘s about a girl named Hazel who has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Her parents make her attend a support group. Hazel was not to happy about going but then realized it was a good idea to be there. She met a boy named Augustus and falls in love. It is for sure a roller coaster of emotions while reading this. Love, sadness and romance.

kcaffyn5 I think what the author is trying to put out there is to never take anything for granted, you never know what may come your way. It‘s always important to tell those important people in your life, how much you love them bcuz you won‘t always have tomorrow. (edited) 5y

This is a series‘s of books. It‘s about secret diaries kids hide from teachers. Its a dramatic emotional read, teenagers hiding secrets so they don‘t get hurt bcuz they are scared. I think the author was trying to say sometimes secrets aren‘t always a good thing, sometimes its not safe to keep secrets. this is an inspiring book and relates to problems that happen in real life. i would recommend it to anyone who is interested in dramatic reads.

MissYaremcio Excellent review Makayla! I am really impressed!! 5y
MrsBabki This is a favorite of mine - you are dead on! Sometimes we have to find a way to talk about things I order to free ourself from the pain. Not easy, but worth it. Come see me for another one. 5y
