I'm glad I read it for historical and sociological knowledge, but I didn't like the racism, the probable misogyny, or all the dead cats. 😾

The graphic novel had lots of emotional moments, and I didn't predict the plot ahead of time.

I didn't dislike the book, but in the movie, toothless reminded me of my last cat, tux, who was a tuxedo. (That isn't tux in the photo). It does have a good message about how sometimes being heroic isn't always the easiest path.

I love what Margaret Atwood did with "The Tempest"! There are many intricate details in the retelling that I'm still thinking about.

I liked this book much more than I expected to. It is an Estonian book that uses Estonian folklore to tell a story where holding on to past customs competes with adaption new technology. And it's funny.

I'm really enjoying the Eighth Day books, even on a rainy day with a stomach virus. I recommend them for fans of Percy Jackson.

I decided that it was a good weekend to start a book about science in the military. #maryroach

I really enjoyed the first half of this book, but I got a little bogged down near the end. It is thought-provoking. Reminds me of Margaret Atwood's MaddAddam trilogy.

I am enjoying this series. Aveyard is doing a great job portraying relationship issues, especially with the main character's best friend and her family.
