Just...wow. Whatever I expected it wasn't that! Such world building, I loved the slo burn of it.

"This doesn‘t mean that tidying your room will actually calm your troubled mind. While it may help you feel refreshed temporarily, the relief won‘t last because you haven‘t addressed the true cause of your anxiety." I feel silly jumping on this particular bandwagon, but there's some sound reasoning here, despite the "fluffier" parts.

Such a satisfying ending to an intense series. It wrapped everything up, without hog tying it and strangling the story. Sometimes authors carry on a successful series too long, but Lawrence has the right touch here with the Empire of Thorns series. This series surprised me with its post-apocalyptic aspect, but is was far from gimmicky, it was a refreshing use of technology gone awry. Loved it, can't wait for more from Lawrence.
