I watched Bridgerton in ONE night (4am bed time) and immediately bought the book the next day. Lovedddd it almost as much as the show. It was a fun read and it was funny to see the differences between the two stories. And despite the character description, I couldn‘t stop picturing Regé-Jean Page as the duke? It was a nice little break from a busy start to this new semester.
panHonestly, I only started to read this because I felt I owed it to my bank account and the movie is adorable. That being said, the fact that I had the movie scenes to hold on to is what helped me make it through this book. I don‘t think I would‘ve finished it otherwise. Now I just have to figure out if I owe it to my bank account to finish the rest of the trilogy.

This was a good, quick read! The story was easy to follow, the characters were likable and interesting, and the adventure was definitely there. This book isn‘t anything like what I normally read, but it was a nice change of pace. So, if you‘re looking for something similar, I recommend!

I‘m really enjoying how this book, and this gang of women in general, talk about their rejection of gender norms (forced or otherwise). I like seeing how each one of their stories has affected their views. Definitely enjoying this more than I thought I would!
