It‘s a raw, and essential, read on feminism and finding one‘s true self beyond gender roles social constructs. A denunciation of a system that‘s bad for everyone involved if you really stop to think about it.
I love this series. One of the amazing things about it, to me, is that it was written in French by Shimazaki. And it‘s a great story, though rather tragic, that unfolds quietly in five short volumes.
