This book was perfect. I love every single thing about it: the beautiful and adorable wlw romance, the story of families and mothers and daughters and being an adult before you're ready, the characters, all of whom were realistic and multifaceted, and the writing which conveyed it all perfectly. If you have any interest in this book, I highly recommend picking it up! 💙

This is a book that resonated with me so deeply, it makes me wish I could give it more than five stars. That I could hand it out to everyone who has even a remote interest. Its amazing story with many elements and quite the emotional punch in the teeth!

This book doesn't have a lot of action for most of the book. The plot is slowly paced, focusing on characters, world-building, and setting the scene for everything to happen. Despite its less active storyline, I adored the world, its myths and magic, and each young queen was unique and interesting! I can't wait to read the next book, when the story really begins to take off 👑

Cat Winters novels are perfect for spooky autumnal reading! 🎃

This is one of the best fantasy series I've ever had the joy to read. These books turn typical fantasy tropes on their head and sports a huge cast of amazing chatacters. And lets not forget how nifty the magic system is. Its definitely a must for fans of the genre.

I love Juliet Marillier. All of her books are excellent and engrossing. Shadowfell didn't impress me as much as her Sevenwaters series, but it was still a lovely and gracefully written novel with strong characters, a heart-melting romance, and fae creatures with magic!

I am obsessed with this book. A self published title, I got it for review in exchange for my honest opinion, which is THIS BOOK IS AMAZING. A whole cast of incredible female characters, a beautiful romamce between a mermaid huntress and a mermaid, amazing action scenes, and a fascinating story. I cannot wait to get the second book, Ice Crypt.

I absolutely adored The Winner's Trilogy. Its a fascinating high fantasy with a female heroine who isn't a warrior, but a flawless tactician. It deals with slavery, colonialism, and other familar topics but within a new and cleverly built world, plus a swoon-worthy romance!

I am totally stoked about the Miss Peregrine movie that comes out this weekend!! I'm hoping I can go see it because I completely loved the trilogy 😄 Do you guys plan to see it?

Crooked Kingdom is going to be coming out soon and I am dying to read it! I've loved all of Leigh Bardugo's Grisha universe, but Six of Crows took it to a whole new level 👍

This book has rocketed to the top of my favorites. Its an incredible novel about a young woman who refuses to let being raped define her life. Its about the power of close friendships and supporting each other in life. Its wonderful, poignant, and empowering and better than I could explain in this small space.

I loved this book! The book has its faults but I enjoyed reading this book so much I could let go of the issues. The characters were diverse and well-developed, the function of the Library of Alexandria was both interesting and sinister and the writing was thoroughly engaging!
