I honestly only came for one book this time!

britt_brooke I'm curious about the Jen Kirkman! I loved her on Chelsea Lately. Have you read Sarah Colonna's books? They're pretty good. 7y
minkoyajanelle @britt_brooke I haven't yet but my tbr list is ever growing 😂 7y

Once I started this book I could not put it down! I devoured it in 6 hours and finally came up for air wondering if there was a sequel. It was a little western, a little Arabian nights, and a lot of girl power! I truly enjoyed this book and I need to know if there is a sequel?!

KeepCalmWithBooksAndCoffee I'm anxious to read this one and yes there is a sequel! Traitor to the Throne! 7y

Finally found this book at my local library yesterday and I can't put it down. I absolutely all the different perspectives and POVs that Traister has included in this work.

BookishFeminist Traister is such a gem. This is a great book. I always love her commentary pieces. I followed her religiously during the election. 7y

Sharrilyn has done it again and created another entertaining addition to her chronicles of nick series. I love this lippy little Cajun demon boy.

Andreeacristinne I've heard that they will make o movie after this book. Anyone know if it's still true? 8y
minkoyajanelle @Andreeacristinne as far as I know it's still a thing, but i wish it would hurry 8y

Finally finished this delectable piece of literature and I loved every moment of it. I savored every anecdote that was then followed by funnier stories and stats. Moran is definitely my type of feminist, and honestly I'm on board with no reproductive system and a spare set of lungs!

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I loved this one too! And the audiobook was great too! 8y

I have been toiling, trying to pull myself through this book, but I can't seem to get into it. I appreciate it for the careful narrative and the kick ass premise, but I just could not make it to the end. I will probably come back to it and try again, but as for now, I'm jumping ship.

While I found this book hilarious and shared a few passages with friends, I wouldn't suggest it for everyone. It's light and entertaining, but shallow to the point of being comparable to a Kardashian conversation.

Rick Riordan does a brilliant job of bringing the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian gods to life with his many series for children and YA readers. I started reading them in high school and still rush and grab the latest additions. The Mark of Athena may be my favorite book from him.
