My view currently. 😉 Kitty + book = enjoyable afternoon. 😊 Plus my sister has SG1 playing in the background, so another plus. 💙 Is anyone else a fan of the Stargate series'? I love the characters and character development. 😊 They do such a good job with making realistic characters and the actors are fabulous. 😄 Definitely one of my all-time favorite shows. 💙

QOTD: If you could have three wishes from a genie in a lamp, what wishes would you ask for? 🏺

AOTD: Nothing. 😂 I've learned my lesson from those TV shows, books and movies!! Wishes always backfire, no matter what they are. 😆 It always comes back to bite you in the end. Best just set the genie free and go on with my life. 😉 LOL. 🍶

Does anyone else love reading on rainy days? It's a rainy sort of day today. It keeps pouring and thundering outside my windows. 😄 Does anyone else love the rain? I love how it sounds against the window panes and the smell of it on the air. 😊 It's very relaxing. 💙

QOTD: Do you prefer reading inside or outside? 💙

Good Sunday, everyone. 😊 How are you all this lovely day? It's kinda cold here. 😐 It keeps getting down to like 28°F here at night so everything gets very chilly in the morning. 😶 I'm currently hiding away from the world under my blankets. 😉

blankpagesofmine Outside or inside with a view always works for me! 7y

What goes better with books and summer than greenhouses and flowers? 😄 My family has used Jolly Lane Greenhouse since I can remember. ^-^ I've always loved going into greenhouses. They smell amazing and are so gorgeous with all their plants. 😊 💙 Sadly, I didn't get to go in. I was cramping/shaking so I had to stay in the car. 🙁 But the outside was still gorgeous and I couldn't help but take a picture for all of you. Isn't it just darling? 💙

A tiny partner wanted to read with me. 😆 This little guy crawled all over my book and was oddly photogenic. 😆 It's fun having tiny reading partners. 💕

Do any of you like reading out amongst the wild life? 💕 🐜

BookishMarginalia Do cats count as wildlife? 7y
mirandamarieauthor @BookishMarginalia Absolutely. I count my cat as wildlife all the time. 😉 7y

Mansfield Park | Jane Austen
post image

Mansfield Park seems to be equal parts Comedy and Tragedy, which is an interesting play of writing for Jane Austen to choose, considering that's exactly what type of play the characters chose to act out. They were determined to have a tragedy and comedy in the same play, to satisfy all those involved, and Austen seems to have taken that theme for the entire book. I think it's a rather clever way of doing it, and I'm enjoying it immensely. 💙
