Grave Mercy | Robin LaFevers

Pickpick

Grave Mercy is my new favorite book of all time. It follows a girl named Ismae as she trains to be an assassin at a monastery, where the nuns are handmaidens of Death. There's female friendships, a slow-burn romance, political intrigue, court drama, and suspense throughout the story. I loved it to pieces, and each book is somehow better than the last. This series deserves so much more hype! 5 stars. 😍😍😍

LOS was an amazing sequel, full of all the things a story should have; humor, suspense, romance, tension, unexpected twists, beloved characters. I loved seeing more of the faerie courts, and getting to see the younger Blackthorns shine. The ending shocked me and honestly crushed my soul, and I can't wait for the final book. 😱❤️💔

book__sorceress I still can't believe we have to wait 2 years for the sequel 😭 7y

"A blank canvas...has unlimited possibilities."

I just finished my reread of Isla today and somehow, I like it even more than Anna! It was so cute and relatable, and the ending was just perfect. ?

I think I'm going to use Litsy as more of a secondary platform from now on, because being consistent here and on Instagram is difficult. I'll still be active, just not as frequently. ?

I picked Throne of Glass up at the library two years ago, expecting an average fantasy. It was so much better than I expected, and now I'm a huge fan. I devour each book as it's released and the wait for Tower of Dawn and eventually the final book is difficult. I know this series has a lot of issues, but I love it. It got me where I am today, in the bookish community. 💙

I'm back! I'll be posting a lot this weekend to make up for my absence. ✨🌚

"Love is scary: it changes; it can go away. That's the part of the risk. I don't want to be scared anymore."

"Life doesn't have to be so planned. Just roll with it and let it happen."

This trilogy is so cute and fun, full of yummy baking, a wonderful family, and even life lessons. I love it so much, though I still need to read the last book. ??

I read this after buying it for my birthday last summer. I didn't know much about it, but it totally surprised me. It's an amazing YA psychological thriller and I devoured the other two books in the next couple of months. Noah Shaw is one of my favorite book boyfriends, although to be quite honest I can't explain why I love him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Have you read this book? Do you have any psychological thriller recs? ✨

Perks.of.being.a.book.nerdd I have it but I have yet to read it, its next on my list after Cassie Clare's books 8y

"Night Triumphant and the Stars Eternal." ?

ACOWAR is my favorite book of the year so far. It had problems and broke my heart, but it was an amazing, perfect conclusion to my favorite trilogy. ??
