Dusty, empty shelves because I'm moving and most of the books are packed up! ? This series was a classic case of "don't judge a book by its cover". I really enjoyed the Poe themes and subtle nods to him throughout the story. Overall it's a good "fluff"/binge read/YA series but it's NOT paranormal erotica as the cover art would lead you to believe. ?

I bought this in a used book shop because I love horror. The book is beat to shit but I love that, it feels more charming & fitting for the genre. The book moved slow (for me) for the first 2/3 or so and then it gets CRAY (are the kids still saying that?). Like we're talking invisible psycho naked man terrorizing English countryside type of crazy. Overall I'm glad I read it because of the "classic horror" genre, but I probably won't read it again.

Jess_Read_This I love the cover on this vintage copy! 😍 7y

I've always wanted to read this, and I wasn't disappointed! Holden is literally THE. WORST. He's a self absorbed asshole. However, I loved seeing the world through his point of view. I can totally see why people either love this book or hate it. But Holden's story made me want to be more real and genuine in my actions with others in daily life.
Also, I was super psyched when I realized I have a cap like Holden's! 🙃

So, I don't think I should have read this so soon after finishing ACOWAR because my heart has officially been broken TWICE IN ONE WEEK. 💔 WHAT THE HELL GUYS. Now you're telling me I have to wait TWO WHOLE YEARS for the next one?? How am I going to survive? IS LIFE EVEN WORTH IT? *closes eyes and takes deep breath*

daisyreadthat I try to space out books that are going to put me through emotion termoil - doesn't always work of course! 7y

HBD to the series that changed my life. Harry Potter was there for me when I was 6 years old and my mom read it to me as a bedtime story. It was there when I re-read it as a teenager and realized it's so much more than a children's book. I'm 24 now and have read the series 6 times. It will never get "old" or irrelevant or boring. It's part of my soul.
If you haven't read it, please do. I sincerely hope it will affect your life as it has mine. ⚡️

This photo was taken from the floor because that's where I ended up after finishing this book. THE FLOOR. Because I literally could not even. I read the entire series in 4 days. I need Rhys and Feyre back in my life like now please. Idk if I can wait until 2018 for the next book 😭 if you haven't read this series GO READ IT NOW.
