This book was really good! I enjoyed it very much. I like that it was told in third person so you know what each person is thinking or feeling. I wouldn‘t describe it as a feel good book but I definitely looked forward to picking it up and it left me smiling more times than not.

Rented this one as an audiobook. It was a slow build up at first, with some spots I caught myself skimming over instead of actually reading but it picked up and I couldn‘t put it away. Left off directly from the first book and left me eager to start the third!

Bully: The Fall Away Series | Penelope Douglas
Mehso-so

This is my first P. Douglas book. I wasn‘t a big fan of this as I am not for fall in love with your bully type nonsense. This was not my cup of tea but I have heard many people say they liked this book. I will try some of her other books as I have heard great reviews about her.

March book club pick. I started 2 books along side this in hopes I could drag out this one til the end of March. It caught me and had me wanting to know what happens next! I couldn‘t put it down. A little bit of a love story, a bit of family issues, a whole lot of mystery. Def. recommend.

The definition of smut. A quick read. Not her best book. But I may just be determined to read all Colleen Hoover books. Thanks tiktok.

I couldn‘t get into this. Maybe a slow build up? Possibly could have gotten more interesting further into the book? I‘ll never know.

IMASLOWREADER ok i thought i was the only one… 2y
reumellivaras @IMASLOWREADER I‘ve heard such great things about this author! I almost didn‘t post my opinion because I too thought I was alone in thinking this. 2y
IMASLOWREADER @reumellivaras the first couple of chapters were cool but then it kinda dragged for me and i tried to finish it but i just couldn‘t anymore even the few funny parts with the ouija board/ seance wasn‘t enough to keep going 2y

I lost some interest in the third book, it just didn‘t grab my attention like the first two.

I thought this followed up Renegades well.

I liked this one, it was neat to see the perspectives of hero‘s and villains.

February book club. Eh… it was okay. It wasn‘t a book I was eager to pick up with any free moment. Almost like a self help book in the way you go through all the possibilities of life.

I wanted to bail so many times reading this. So so so many times. But it was for January book club so I was determined to finish. It‘s long winded and very easy to lose focus on what‘s going on.

This book about friendship, love, loss, and war is so addicting, I just couldn't stop reading it. This is one of my new favorites. I reccomend this book to everyone!

Neverwhere | Neil Gaiman

So after my so-so interest with Good Omens I was a bit hesitant when this audiobook came up as available. The only reason I didn‘t immediately return this book was because I was waiting on my other 12 books to become available, it literally was my only option. I‘m about half way through & I‘m not disappointed! I‘m so glad it worked out that this was my only option bc I‘m really digging it. 👍🏼 hoping the 2nd half of this book does not disappoint!

Loved this book! There was never a time, while reading this, that I was bored. The pace was always moving and the subject matter was well researched and explained.

I know everyone was raving about this book but I just wasn‘t that into it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book had been recommended to me many times. It's been sitting on my dresser for the better part of a year. I'm finally in a place where can I read it and I'm on the fence. It's like an angsty teenager wrote it. I'm 1/3 of the way through and I'm getting distracted. I'm really going to try and stick it out.

I liked this book. It was a good fantasy that had many details and wasn't rushed. The characters and plot were constantly moving which kept things interesting. I'll recommend this book to anyone who wants a low key fantasy read.

This is our September/October pick for book club and so far this fantasy has grabbed my attention. I listen to it in place of the radio or any quiet moments I may have.

This book drove on and on and on. It was so boring. The plot was predictable with an abrupt ending leaving you questioning why you stuck through until the end. If this wasn't picked by someone else for book club and I had actually tried to read it (I listened to audio book on drive to/from work) I would have bailed out.

Quick read, slow developing. The main character is a whiner. Save yourself and skip it. If you really want to know what happens, read the last 3 chapters. Everything else is fluff.

A Dirty Job: A Novel | Christopher Moore
Mehso-so

I enjoyed (most of) this book. I wanted a book that wasn't a love story and wasn't boring and this was exactly that. I liked the humor and the oddball characters. Part 3 is where it lost me a little and the ending was rushed. But it satisfied enough that I plan to read the next book.
