The end was a little predictable, but the story was good. I needed a little smut in my life :)

You‘re telling me a 17yo girl who jumped in the pool fully clothed at a party &forgot she was wearing a white top was allowed to live by herself with an unsecured Glock.& she lives next door to her bestie turned bully (who tormented her by, for example, having a case of yeast infection cream delivered. To the classroom.How?) who has a key to the house. Plot goes nowhere fast. Tate is both pretentious &an idiot. Not in a youthful way.

Being a Bitch could be a survival technique. They get respect. There was no honor in people thinking you were a Slut.

The plot is full of your usual high school drama, but mixed in with racing and bully romance it made a love story. At first I hated Jared, but as the book progresses we find out more about him, which doesn't justify his actions, but does make them more understandable.I did find Tate to be a little annoying, but I liked how her attitude changed over the book, I found parts of myself relating to her. I'm so happy Tate and Jared got their HEA.

This is my first P. Douglas book. I wasn‘t a big fan of this as I am not for fall in love with your bully type nonsense. This was not my cup of tea but I have heard many people say they liked this book. I will try some of her other books as I have heard great reviews about her.

Penelope Douglas has done it again. Not a huge fan of the title as it doesn‘t do the book justice. But aside from that great storytelling. Jared and Tatum are childhood friends and I love books that has this as a back drop. Off to download the next in the series.

Current e-book. This is my first Penelope Douglas book. After many reviews of her books that I‘ve seen on Tik Tok I knew I had to check her out. What are some of her books that I need to read?

My Penelope Douglas binge continues! Not my favorite of the ones I've read so far, but there's just something about damaged characters and smokin' chemistry that gets me every time. This is the first of a series so I'll definitely read the others! #romantsy

This is the first book I ever read from this author, this is the book that got me hooked to the fall away series. You may think Jared is a jerk, which he is, but through out the book you find out why he treats Tate so badly. One of my favorite books, besides Until You and Rival

I hated him and what he had done to her. Despite that their coming together was sweet. I believed them when they revealed what was in their hearts. Not 5 stars for me but I read this in 1 sitting.

How do i write that i absolutely loved and devoured this book? i stayed up all night to read it and was not disappointed at all!! can not recommend enough 😀

Really enjoyed this entire series of companion novels. If you like NA, definitely give it a go!
