Fave! Definitely touched my soul there.
Another fav in the genre of wwii fiction.
I like how parts of it is spoke by the voice of Death; simply delightful read.

I love it.
The writing touched me and made me feel so much for the main character it was hard to put the book done, just because I want to know how her life went.
The supposed next 'Gone Girl' but I would rate it less. Still a good book with a pretty unexpected plot.
A powerful book that explains why we chose to live even in times of great adversity. Good for those who are feeling a little lost in their lives and unsure of what to do.
Fave!! i could not put this down. The plot thickens at the end of evety chapter. This has led me to Gillian Flynn's other books and I'm proud to say I've read them all. I'm a total fan!
One of my favourite books! Definitely worth a read if you are interested in understanding why people make decisions that just do not seem logical. This is a fun read and easy to digest for anyone with no background.
A bit too fantasy-like for me. Reading was slow and lull even though I eventually did want to know what will happen to Axel and Beatrice in the end.
A good book, he had concluded, leaves you wanting to reread the book. A great book compels you to reread your soul.
It has been on my reading list for a while so I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't a book I couldn't put down. That said, some parts of the book left me thinking so I would still recommend a read.
Not sure why it got the manbooker prize even though after reading analyses, I understand the concept the author was trying to get to.
It's a little floaty but would give some points on the descriptive writings.
