Superb, angsty (in just the right way) new adult, love triangle romance from the heroine‘s POV that sucked me in. These triangles can be hit or miss, but this one succeeded marvelously. Loved the characters, their complexity and the way they interacted.

This book is a perfect lighthearted, romcom historical romance filled with witty banter that centers on ‘loosening‘ the very prim and proper heroine, Miss Pendergast. The twist is that it's set in Paris at the end of the 19th century. It starts out a little bit slow, but stick with it.

Amazing, raw, emotional romance that reminded me of those little plants that manage to grow in between the cracks of rocks in the most inhospitable places on earth. Love really can conquer all. #romantsy #OSRBC

Amazing. A sweet, tender, slow building romance between a sparkling heroine and a very proper, but also very human, hero. The HEA is amazing, both for the main couple and as the conclusion of this series. #romantsy #OSRBC

If you like western romance, you might like this. I did. It's a mix of romantic suspense comedy set in Cheyenne in the second half of the 19th century. The hero is tough, proud but sweet and the town's sheriff. The heroine, the mail order bride his mother arranged, has her own reasons and persistently shows the hero she doesn‘t need him to rescue her (well, not all the time). Slowly they start relying more and more on each other. #romantsy #OSRBC

What a great story! Utterly glorious. True story-telling.
Even though it may be small with respect to the number of pages (it's a novella), the content puts many full length books to shame. And what a great decision by Ms. Balogh to not stretch this into a full length novel by adding needless words.
And to those of you thinking about reading this: Do. And read on till the very end. #romantsy

This is such a great debut and such a shame that so few people seem to have found it. So, here's a shout out! To all nerdy, planning addicted women loving excel spreadsheets and Google who have at one time found themselves in way over your head, this one is for you! #romantsy
