Overall, this family drama could have been better as the pace was really slow in my book and quite lengthy at times. Towards the end, the story panned out for the better with much action to boot. I honestly still prefer Me Before You 😅

This is JoJo Moyes's first novel. I wasn't sure initially if it was going to be for me but I grew to really enjoy it. It's not really a page turner, in the sense that it's quite clear early on where the story is going but I still found it a really enjoyable read.
Spa days make the perfect time for catching up on some reading 👌🏻
Lunch and a new (very aptly titled) book while I take shelter from the rain ☔️

This is Jojo Moyes' debut novel and it's a story about mothers and dauthers.. Three generations of Irish women, trying to find their way back to the unbreakable bond of the family.
I really liked the different POVs (and the different time sets) of the story, but I couldn't feel any simpathy for Sabine: her character was just a bunch of stereotypes.
Sheltering Rain by Jojo Moyes will have the 3R's (Review, Rant and Rating) coming up on my Wordpress account! 😉 Check out the photo of To All The Boys I've Loved Before on this Litsy feed for the account name 😁
