Food Freedom Forever
Food Freedom Forever: Letting Go of Bad Habits, Guilt, and Anxiety Around Food by the Co-Creator of the Whole30 | Melissa Hartwig
9 posts | 11 read | 6 to read
End the yo-yo dieting cycle... forever. Welcome to the Food Freedom plan. Millions of people have successfully completed the groundbreaking Whole30 program and radically transformed their energy, sleep, cravings, waistline, and health. Now, Food Freedom Forever offers real solutions for anyone stuck in the exhausting cycle of yo-yo dieting and the resulting stress, weight gain, uncontrollable cravings, and health complaints. In her newest book, best-selling author Melissa Hartwig defines true food freedom as being in control of the food you eat, instead of food controlling you. Resets like the Whole30 can jump-start the process, but as anyone who has dieted knows, holding onto that freedom and creating healthy habits that last is the hard part. In her detailed 3-part plan, Melissa will help you discover food freedom, no matter how out of control you feel; walk a self-directed path that keeps you in control for months on end; gracefully recover when you slip back into old habits; and create the kind of food freedom that stays with you for the rest of your life. Food Freedom Forever shows you how to design your reset, making your short-term protocol maximally effective. Youll learn how to spot your specific triggers before theyre pulled and strategies for dealing with temptation, strengthening your new healthy habits, and boosting your willpower. Melissa also shares advice for retaining your food freedom during holidays, vacations, periods of life stress, social pressure, and criticism from friends and family. By the last page, youll have a detailed plan for creating the perfect diet for you, finding your own healthy balance, and maintaining the kind of control that brings you real food freedom every day.

Whole30, and subsequently Food Freedom Forever, are the two #selfhelp books I credit for freeing me of my restrictive ways. The ways I thought I had no choice but to live in in order to be healthy and in shape. I‘d be running on that 1200 calorie, cardio bunny loop endlessly if it weren‘t for these two books and for that I‘m forever grateful

GingerAntics I need to read this book. I‘ve stopped dieting in the last few months, but I don‘t know what I should be doing. I‘m quickly getting into a dangerously unhealthy territory so I really need to get this all straightened out. 5y

This book sat at my kitchen table over the summer. I read it while eating breakfast and lunch most days. This is my W30 compliant breakfast hoping to offset the piece of Bailey‘s Irish Cream Cheesecake I had for dessert last night. I try! It‘s all about Food Freedom 😉

Just finished the Whole 30 (whoop!) and feel amazing. Now to have food freedom is a little nerve wracking. Time to read the next book and be focused and strong!

So many passages in this book jump out every time I read it. This one speaks to my heart. Even a Whole30, when used as a crash diet, can result in this. You have to work on your inside, your sense of self, to really work any lasting physical changes. #foodfreedomforever #healthyliving

Just finished my third Whole30 a couple of weeks ago and found this book helpful as I moved away again from the strictness of the reset. Still learning about how certain foods affect me but love how much I've already learned and how much better I feel on the whole than before.

I love the Whole30. It's changed my life and the way I look at food. I love FFF because it adds to the Whole30 program and gives advice for going forward with life after your Whole30 reset. And of course, I always enjoy Melissa's humor and sarcasm.
