Touted as a prequel to The Whistler. Witness to a Trial details the trial of Junior Mace, who turns out to be a pivotal character in The Whistler. It goes into detail about a trial that was mentioned but not fully explored in Whistler. I enjoyed it

5⭐️ Like most all of JOHN GRISHAM‘s books, it is easy to read and captivating. I listened to the audiobook in the car and it made for a quick trip. Although it is a very short book. If you‘ve already read The Whistler you know how the trial ends, and this tells you why. If you haven‘t, read this first! It‘s a great warm-up for the book.

OK, be prepared to be frightened. These are my October stats. I read one short story the entire month. I start about four other books, but I just haven't been able to get through them yet. I had vacation, the workload you get when you come back from vacation, and just wasn't able to concentrate on reading this month. Hope I didn't scare all of you too much. Happy Halloween. 🎃🎃👻👿

This is a prequel to his new book. He is setting the stage so to speak. It is a short story around the manipulation of a trial. Cannot wait for The Whistler at the end of the month.

An Ebook that is a prequel to Grisham's forthcoming novel The Whistler.

A first time judge facing an unexperienced defence lawyer, a shrewd prosecutors, inflammable exhibits, and perhaps an innocent suspect.

I hope this plot will be extended or used in The Whistler.
