This book is beautiful! The art work, the paper quality....everything. I haven‘t even started reading it yet and I‘m already in love!

LOVED this book. Ann Patchett is such a lovely writer. Her writing is lyrical.
"the way the wind blows in our country can make us question who we are in our own lives. Often the type of waiting woman do is to make sure other woman approve, so that they may also approve of themselves."
The writing was beautiful. I just don‘t think I was in the right mood for the heaviness of it all.
Happy mail came today! Now for the hard part... (I want to start them all)
Although I didn‘t enjoy it as much as Bel Canto, the writing is terrific. Patchett has a way with words.
And the twists keep coming! Didn't see that last one at all. Good read.
Loved the first 2/3 of it. Ending wasn't that great. IMO
I enjoyed this one. A little more humor than most of his others. A Time to Kill is still my favorite Grisham book, but this was certainly worth the read.
Going to finish the Litigators and then start on this stack. #24in48
I finally purchased this tome. I needed to find out for myself why it's on everyone's favorite list!
Any "must try" recipes?
looks like a good day to curl up with a book!
Happy Thanksgiving! hope you all have a wonderful day filled with good food and people you love!
my neverending story is finishing a book and then not being able to decide what the read next because my TBR is so long.......🤐
getting a couple chapters in waiting for an oil change.
listening to the audiobook on couple of long drives. makes the time fly by!
it was cute but nothing compares to the original.
debating moving this one up the TBR list. thoughts?
