I read with reluctance and often caught myself thinking: “Go and read, then it‘s over soon and you can read something different.” So I bailed. I don‘t like it. It‘s too repetitive and there is the scheme of a girl that needs to be saved by a boy although she pretends and repeats that she is “so tough”. And of course, the boys are “so beautiful”. 🙄 But the plot is moving way too slow. 😴

Reminds me of Stephenie Meyer. 😱😩 No, I don‘t need that.

I‘m tired of „I-run-away-and-you catch-me” but it seems that after 100 pages this pattern will now finally be outdated. 😅

And yes I _can_ understand her fear, being in her situation I would freak out as well, but it‘s annoying to read every second page that she can‘t breathe and feels like her lungs are squeezed.

Also, there are huge problems with pronouns. It‘s so often unclear who „he” is that I no longer believe in a rhetorical device. 😟

Quite confusing with all the names in incomplete dialogues but someone already told Mrs Raven. 😉 Some pages later there‘s explanation.

I didn‘t read the book‘s blurb completely when adding it to my stack so I was very surprised it‘s a vampire-🧛🏻‍♀️-story.

Last vampires I met were in Kim Harrison‘s „Rachel-Morgan”-series which I bailed after five or six or seven books (suppressed) because I felt they dragged and lacked overall development.

Am I the only one who is sad when an eBook‘s cover is love- and carelessly designed compared to its printed edition❓

I was so excited about finding three treasures in a row that I borrowed this blindly. 🤪 But as I saw that it has 524 pages I stopped my forray because I realized that I have just Friday started a new book and have now approximately 1,300 pages to read in my „pipeline”. ☺️

Gott es war SO SO SO unfassbar gut ❤️?... Einziger Kritikpunkt: Dass Lucinda zunächst nicht Joaquins Namen nutzt, sonder immer geschrieben wurde 'ER steht in der Tür', 'Sie bringen mich zu IHM', 'Plötzlich sah ich IHN in der Tür stehen' usw. Aber: ich habe gelacht, geweint, mich vor Spannung kaum halten können und bin auf Wolke7 geschwebt.
