Day 16 October
Richard Laymon's Night In Lonesome October
#BlackCatCrew #Scarathlon
This book does not have a supernatural element, but there are a lot of disturbing, terrifying people. The people under the bridges are particularly creepy. The story takes place over several nights, and at times it moves at a leisurely pace. But in the second half things start to pick up and end in a crazy, wild climax. Not as weird as some of Laymon's other works but still very enjoyable.
Another solid Laymon story so far.
Lesson re-learned: Don't go walking around alone outside at night!! 😳

Thanks again @TorieStorieS #hocuspocusswap 👻
This is one of Laymon's weirder books. It involves a college student named Ed who goes walking late one night and meets people who regularly break into houses (the same houses that aren't ever locked), cannibals under a bridge at his school and other disturbing things.
