For the first time, actor Peter Davison writes his autobiography,with the assistance of Andrew Merriam. Davison is best known for playing the fifth Doctor in the hit BBC show Dr Who, from 1981 to 1984, though he has also starred in such notable shows as All Creatures Great and Small, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Miranda, Sherlock and Law and Order UK.

Peter Davison has a charming narrative voice and intersperses memories with his account of the circumstances surrounding the writing of this book. Loved hearing about his family and looking at all the pictures. I wish there were more though! Also wish the copyeditor had done just one more pass through the book. Still, this is fun.

My copy of the Fifth Doctor's memoir arrived today! I will be flipping through it while drinking tea and snacking on Marks and Spencers prawn cocktail shells (ferried from the UK by a friend who was there for work).
