I've been absent for a while. Moving, work, health, and running a bookstore online that desperately needs to be in a storefront have had me running pretty ragged. Gonna try to pop back in more regularly though- I always miss this place when I'm not here often enough lol
so-soThis was a short book about the sea and stories and traditions. It was pretty and very whimsical. Not totally my style though, I would have preferred some more characterization and detail.
Cozy bedtime read. A fairytale steeped in the folklore of the Isle of Man. Lovely prose and imagery.
