pickThis was a hard read. Chris‘s life is told through quotes from people who knew him through every phase of his life. Almost all of it is heartbreaking. You see his family, particularly his father, enabling him at a young age. Chris‘s love and personality and generosity really shine though; I almost feel like I know him at this point. Lauranahe I remember when he died, and how horrible it was. But reading about all his volunteer work, his spirituality, his insecurity, and need for love while putting so much out there for others…it‘s heartbreaking. I felt down a lot while reading this. (edited) 5d

Lauranahe I did feel like crying several times. When I finished it last night and went to bed, my husband was like “what‘s wrong?” Nothing, except I just finished the Chris Farley book. 😭 So devastating. 5d
