TheAromaofBooks The first one I ever read was Wild Trek, and it's still one of my all-time favorites. I've been slowly trying to collect hard copies of all his books since they are mostly out of print. 2y

When I was a kid, my mom bought me a box set of Jim Kjelgaard's dog books. To this day I want an Irish Setter just like Sean.

This book taught me more about being thrown in difficult circumstances and surviving than any other book (it also taught me that sometimes when we actually get what wish for - we realize that all that glitters isn't gold).

Libby1 I loved these books as a child. I remember checking them out from the library. I, too, have had a fascination with this breed ever since. 7y
