Finished this last night. Took longer than expected because I've had such bad headaches and migraines all weekend. Great read. I enjoyed the characters and had a thrilling plot.

1. Reading tagged book and relaxing.
2. Donuts. I haven't had many cake pops but didn't really like the ones I've had.
3. The audiobook of Opal. Finished on the way home from work last night.
4. Getting pics of my nieces (3 year old amd a 4 month old!)
5. I'm late to the game again, so anyone can play along if you haven't done it already!

cj82487 Ok... So I looked up Karen Rose and, fun fact, she actually holds 2 chemical engineering patents for making Metamucil taste better. Very cool... Now I must decide which one of her books to pick up first because they all sound really interesting! 6y

Karen Rose did a wonderful job in giving the reader this beautiful and steamy romance but also delving more into the case and all the supporting characters.

This is a pick for me as I love the series. Definitely can't read as stand alone as the characters would be way too confusing!
Lots of people die, lots of violence and this one is trying to break a child pornography ring, so not an easy topic.
The only thing that does irritate me is characters fall in love literally at first sight! Really!!??

TrishB @Samantha.1020 I would definitely say yes to this series, unless you don' t mind not knowing any of the backgrounds, for this one, the story pretty much continues from the last too. But I would recommend the series if you like crime thrillers. 7y

julesG Which book of the series is this? I got the second (?) novel for Christmas and am now wondering, whether I should get the first and read it before the other. What do you think?

TrishB @julesG Closer Than You Think is the first.There are loads of characters and links, I would definitely read in order (but I'm always like that!) It may be very confusing not to. 7y
