Finished a few more in t #litsyreadingchallenge, LAST NIGHT AT TREMORE BEACH for "translated...," 10 THINGS I CAN SEE FROM HERE for the "LGBT relationship" square, and A SIMPLE FAVOR covers "multiple perspectives."
Solid thriller -- loved the setting in a small Irish village. Made me want to box up all my books and move to Ireland.
#TBRtemptation post! A just-released psychological thriller set on a remote part of Ireland's coast. A world-renowned composer, Peter Harper, & his family take a summer holiday at Ireland's scenic Tremore Beach. One stormy night, he's struck by lightning. He begins having headaches & strange dreams. The line between reality & his dreams begin to blur, & realizes they may be a warning of horror to come. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
This will strike some reader's fancies, but I didn't like the main character. He was a good dad, but didn't listen. Lots of those, "Why in the world would someone do that?!" moments. Didn't throw it across the room and did finish, but not my favorite thriller of the year.
Thank you NetGalley for a copy in return for my honest review.
