Seriously what is this nonsense? Can we just scrap these kind of books now 😑😑😑😑 'they remain mostly unimpressed by your mastery of a game involving wizards, or your understanding of the morse code.' What a bunch of twoddle.

mllemay I don't understand the point of these books at all, especially considering most of them just reinforce gender stereotypes in a really unhealthy way 🙄😒 7y

TheLondonBookworm @mllemay Exactly! I can't understand why they're still being put out into the world, especially as it sat on the shelf in children's reference next to titles about feminism and sexuality. It's an entire book dedicated to a gender stereotype -_- 7y

DuckOfDoom I always imagine parents complaining about stereotypes and next day going into the lego store with twins, the daughter is not allowed to have an X-Wing because "That's for boys" and the boy can't have the caffee shop for his lego town becauss it was colored pink by Lego ... And 10 years later they wonder why their children behave like the average badly stereotyped teenager. 7y

This book is fabulous. My oldest is 8 and a pretty confident reader and he loves this book. There are parts that he needs to grow into, but it has knot tying, paper airplane folding, how to talk to girls... And much more! I found this little gem, did you know the origin of "chortle?"
