This was a really interesting non-fiction read about two teenage girls at a coding camp for girls who made a game, Tampon Run, that went viral. I loved reading about young girls interested in tech and coding.

just purchased these books from bookstore today. i'm so excited to dive into this one! ❤

YA non-fiction was definitely a head scratcher! It took me a little bit of searching to come up with something but I think this would be a great addition!

What do you think of Pusheen's hardcover books? Are they good? I haven't read any of this! I hope these books are all good!

As someone who's thinking about going into computer science, I was super excited when I found this book and just had to have it. And let me tell you it definitely hasn't disappointed. I'm only about half way through and their story is so amazing and inspirational.

Although I'm not the target audience (my students are), this was a great book! I loved how the girls talked about overcoming difficulties- programming, public speaking, parent acceptance of their work- and developed higher self esteem along the way. Good amount of giving coding it's due- hard, but rewarding! It definitely inspired me a bit- I've got a few ideas for our Girls in STEM club from these girls' experiences!
