Really enjoyed the second installment of the Dublin Murder Squad series. The characters were well rounded and the mystery compelling. I wanted to know who dunnit but, at the same time, didn‘t want the story to end as I wanted to spend more time with the characters.

This was a wonderful Sunday afternoon read. For a good portion of the book I saw the twists and turns coming. Right up to the point I didn‘t. That was when I began flipping pages at warp speed. At the final reveal, I felt I had been holding my breath for ages. Highly recommend this killer thriller.

Had heard nothing but good things about this one and was super excited to read it. Sadly, this best thing I can say is that it was a quick read. I really wanted to like it, but just couldn‘t. I felt it came across more as a script for a B horror movie rather than a book. Everything seemed to be presented as descriptions of movie scenes instead of a smooth, cohesive story. 😕

This book! What a wild a terrifying ride! The sheer magnitude of this man‘s depravity is beyond comprehension. His intelligence, his ability to plan for killings years in advance by planting kill kits across the country without even having a specific victim in mind & his ability to commit atrocities then disappear without a trace are all horrifying. No doubt he took numerous secrets to his grave and we‘ll never know the total depth of his evil.

Listened to the audiobook during work commute. Enjoyed this book a great deal. Written during a time when nuclear war was still a fresh idea. The book is set in the area where I live, which made it quite literally hit close to home. I felt perhaps the writers of The Walking Dead, when creating character Rick Grimes, drew immensely from the lead character, Randy Bragg. Highly recommend.

Read Ruth Ware‘s debut novel & felt while it was good there was certainly room for her to grow as an author Her next two books felt as if she were just trying to meet a deadline. I had little hope for The Turn of the Key. THIS is the novel I was hoping for. An intriguing story full of twists & turns, a narrator you aren‘t certain you can trust & a bit of creepiness had me turning pages like mad. Read in one sitting. Cannot wait for her next book!
