#setonanisland #seasonsreadings2016 We were acquainted with Paul Levine when we lived near Miami (he once accidentally locked us out of OUR house), and my faves of his books are the Solomon vs. Lord series. Funny, but good mystery. This one is set in the Florida Keys. Picture is from my favorite Florida island, Sanibel.

GlitteryOtters Ahh, I love stories like that! How ever did he lock you out of YOUR house?! 😂 We've never had anything quite like that happen to us, although Groucho Marx once broke into my family's cabin in California, slept there, stole food & left an apologetic note & money to pay for repairs & food replacement, so that's nearly as much of an odd story 😂😂 (he got caught in a freak mountain snowstorm & had to wait it out at our family's summer place). 8y
Lynnsoprano @GlitteryOtters It wasn't funny at the time, but it is now. Our front door had a deadbolt, but also the old fashioned turn the button lock in the knob. It had been our turn to host the Penn State alumni club football gathering, and Paul apparently turned the lock while standing at the door, talking. We walked out to the car with him, then realized we were locked out. Fortunately, the sliding door wasn't locked, but we panicked for a couple minutes 8y
