I‘m very new to manga, I have seen this one raves about by some of my favorite fantasy reviewers, so I checked it out. This was a very fun Viking adventure story. The art is beautiful and the pacing of the story was solid. I look forward to continuing the series! 4.5⭐️

Just over 2 months until the anime starts airing! I've been re-reading as a refresh. 🤗

I really enjoyed my first foray into manga. The art was great and I loved the Viking storyline. The format definitely takes some getting used to, and every time I found things confusing, I realized I had started reading left to right again instead of right to left and would have to restart the page. Overall, very enjoyable and I look forward to more of the Vinland Saga and more manga in general.

Starting this birthday present from my dear friend @TricksyTails while #Bailey waits (im)patiently for her ice cream. I‘m having a little trouble retraining my brain to read the manga panels from right to left, so I had to start over after about 20 pages of confusion. 😂

Took a few back to the library and came home with this... In my defense, most of them are graphic novels... #oops #libraryhaul

A character-based Viking epic in manga format. The historical detail is outstanding. The story is compelling. The art is gorgeous. (I loved this artist's Planetes series also.)
So that's the Y for my month of #LitsyAtoZ. Only two letters left: O and Q.

Starts out gory, but I quickly became wrapped up in the characters. Thought I'd just read a few pages before bed to see if I like it. Somehow, it's 130 pages later and this book is 1/4 done.
