Someone gave my daughter this book when she was 4 years old.

For an entire year she kept it hidden under her bed.

She was convinced that it revealed secrets about being a girl and she didn't want her brother or dad to find them out. She wouldn't even look at the book unless they were out of the house!

When we got together we had to learn from each other that, as an artist, he was interested in the "look" of the book. As a librarian I'm more interested in the story behind the book, or the stories connected with the book, rather than how it looks. 7y
