pickI feel like this is a great example of a biography because it tells the life of Wilma Rudolph who over came her odds and achieved her goals. I also believe this is a great biography because all the facts it gives from her life.
I would read this to a second-third grade class to help build their self-esteem. I feel like at that age, children think they have to be the people in the magazines and they are not enough, so by reading this book, I thik it would help build them up.

I would love to have this book in my classroom so my students can learn that nothing holds you back! If you want something bad enough you can work hard for it!
