This had a great slow burn creep factor. At times I was shaking from some of the creepy imagery. Nevill gives you just enough and then let's your brain fill in the rest of the horror, which makes it quite terrifying at times.

Happy first day of fall.
I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked the concept and the writing, but the story wasn't as good. A successful horror writer is blackmailed by a cult of astral projectors to write a book promoting their organization. I love stories about weird cults and that aspect of the book was very interesting, it just took way too long for the book to hit its stride.

Going to start this one today and continue Stephen King's On Writing. (Homework? What is this homework of which you speak? 🙄) Anyway, I'm loving this cover and can hardly wait to dive in! #litsypartyofone
