Storm Diego was raging outside and was so noisy it woke me up and then I couldn't go back to sleep. So I decide to read something light and easy instead. It was fun and (very slightly) nostalgic, but inevitably perhaps, it had aged a bit.

I've had an Adrian Mole weekend as i reread the secret diary and rd the growing pains for the 1st time. These books should be free to everyone at the mo as they are a perfect tonic to the news. I forgot how brilliant sue townsend was and whilst written in the 80's it has not dated. A wonderful read and spent the day chuckling. Definitely going to read more in series😂
Whipping through these books!! So easy to read, requiring so little brain power. Simple entertainment to wind down to after reaching 150 of the little so n so's!
