4/5 for this novella! I love these novellas because I get to learn more about the side characters that I was curious about. Polychrome was such an awesome character. I loved Bright too. Her story was a good one.

I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed reading about Polly and Heathcliff ... (Heathcliff is a panther unicorn... who wears a horn on his head 😁)

I enjoy these glimpses into life before Amy showed up in Oz. They really help me get a better understanding of the characters & really showcase how evil Dorothy is.

The newest of the Dorothy Must Die prequels, The Dark Side of the Rainbow, ?takes us to Rainbow Falls. Here we meet Polychrome and Bright, and Polychrome's "unicorn" Heathcliff. ?Dorothy also pays a visit. ??I love the setting in this story and wish such a place really existed. Also my favorite cover so far! I highly recommend this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#Oz ???

rubyslippersreads Love that cover! I need to catch up on these. 8y
JenlovesJT47 @rubyslippersreads yes this cover is awesome, actually all of them are pretty great. I actually like the prequels better than the regular series, even though I like the series too. I just like getting more background info on the main players in Oz. #imobsessed 😬 8y
rubyslippersreads @JenlovesJT47 I can understand the #Oz obsession. ?? I thought the most interesting parts of the ones I've read were the little "in" jokes about the original books (and of course the 1939 movie.) 8y
JenlovesJT47 @rubyslippersreads yes! The books are full of inside jokes. I love how the main character Amy's last name is Gumm, the same as Judy Garland's real name. Yes I am a nerd 🤓 8y
monkeygirlsmama I need to read this. 8y
