Pickpick

This is a moving and inspirational historical fiction children's book. It is set in the civil war era as it follows the life of a young African American boy, Mason, and his struggles and successes trying to find justice in what seems like an all white world. For sure a MUST read. This is a link to a great reading source for technology based schools. The book is read by Dulé Hill https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1_Zk4P50WT4
