Omg, I cannot explain how happy I was when I found this book. Growing up I had EVERY Little Golden Book, my mom collected them, and then passed them onto me. This is an adorable compilation of all the great messages and lessons taught in Little Golden Books. A very fun read that takes you down memory lane.

Now that Litsy posts for grades are done, I wanted to post on some books I've read through out my years, and post on the books that have made an impact on my life and education. I will never forget reading "A Lesson Before Dying" sophomore year of HS, and what an incredible influence it had on my future reading endeavors. If you have not read this, you must. It's heart wrenching and a true insight to the injustices that went on not so long ago.

What a fun flashback! Amelia Bedelia is a Realistic Fiction series that follows Amelia as she takes every duty she is assigned literally! This Animal Fantasy book is a real page turner! It's a fun and quick read that tugs at any animal lovers heart strings. It is a Newbery Award winner and I can see why. This is a moving and inspirational historical fiction children's book. It is set in the civil war era as it follows the life of a young African American boy, Mason, and his struggles and successes trying to find justice in what seems like an all white world. This book is a MUST read! It's a wonderfully vivid historical fiction picture book that takes you into the colorful world of Vasya Kandinsky. I read it to my blended K-2 elementary and they also enjoyed it.
