I wanted to take a picture of a duck, but they must've flown more south. Anyway, here's a great historical fiction piece on how the famous hotels established this feathery tradition of theirs. To accompany here's a link to some ideas on how students can look up what was accurate and what was changed: http://www.homeschoolshare.com/john_phillip_duck.php #ucflae3414sp17 #noharmnofowl #wewillquackyou #waddlebabywaddle

DrSpalding It no longer occurs but our local Peabody on I-Drive used to have the suck procession. It was a sight to see! 🦆 8y

CaitlinPVeal What a cool story! I really like this book. On the website it has the authors email. I would give this to my students for a way to communicate with the author. It would make them feel special to talk to an author, and it could aid their literacy skills. 8y
CaraM This reminds me of Mr.Poppers Penguins. This seems like a great book for young readers. 8y
