Diva, a small yet brave dog, and Flea, a curious streetwise cat, develop an unexpected friendship in this unforgettable tale of discovery. When Flea fl neurs past Diva's courtyard one day, their lives are forever changed. Together, Diva and Flea explore and share their very different worlds, as only true friends can do.

I don't think this is one of Mo's best works, I found the story just ok but the beautiful illustrations and author's notes at the end make this a pick.

Mo Willems picture books have been a staple of my kids' growing up years. Imagine our excitement to find this mid-grade chapter book, just as the kids are venturing into reading chapter books on their own. As usual, Willems has created an absolutely delightful story. If you have little people in your life, don't miss this one!

This book is absolutely adorable. The short chapters and ample color pictures make it great for students just starting chapter books. The sweet friendship story and clever references will make it enjoyable for adults reading along too. Plus it's all based on a true story!

Sweet simple story about a budding friendship between a house-bound dog and flaneuring cat set in Paris. Tony DiTerlizzi's illustrated artwork is phenomenal. Willems adds a few uncommon French words into the mix which expand the reader's vocabulary and enrich the story.
