"Glimrende krimidebut. Holder lseren fanget fra start til slut." - Plusbog

Mortification 🙈I read this a few years ago! It was on my kindle & I didn‘t remember. I only read a few short chapters , But as I read on it all came back to me ! I kept thinking : this is very familiar 🙈🙄. It‘s good ! But I‘m not reading it again. Has this happened to anyone else.
Must find another book now ....

Four hours of travel today meant uninterrupted reading and finally finishing this long book. It was worth the time investment, though. It was twisty, creepy, and scary all at once. I didn‘t like Fabian most of the time but I really hope Dunja makes a return appearance in future books. It also made me think back to school, my clsssmates, and how we treated each other. A thought provoking mystery that kept me engaged to the end.

This is a long and involved book that took me a long time to connect with. I was surprised in the end by the outcome and the identity of the murderer which is a sign of a good mystery.

This overall was a good read which I enjoyed greatly. I have read comments that it needed an editor to make it less wordy. I have to agree. There were parts of this novel that were wordy and could have done with cutting. A good editor could have reduced this book to a lovely 400 pages. Having said this I enjoyed the read and enjoyed the characters. Will definitely pick up more Fabian Risk just not in any immediate hurry to.

I finished this one yesterday, haven't written my Goodreads review yet, but, if you like smart, layered thrillers, this book is for you. I was really impressed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟4 Stars

Zakia Wow! Added to TBR stack:) 8y
KrisConstantReader @Zakia my only complaint is that this book is pretty long, but actually I'm really enjoying it. I'm around 70% done and at this point I'd definitely recommend it. 8y
