Finished this earlier in the week for this month‘s #SeasonalCozies after finding it doing a Google search for cozy mysteries set in September & finding out it was free for me on Audible. Honestly there wasn‘t much of a Sept presence/fall vibe but it wasn‘t a bad cozy mystery & I liked the characters overall. The main mystery was solved but it ended with a set up into a treasure hunt. The next one is set in October⬇️

For #HyggeHour tonight, I‘m finishing up my cards for the #FallCardSwap so I can mail them out tomorrow while listening to the tagged book for #SeasonalCozies

I‘m drinking raspberry lemonade (it‘s so humid) & noshing on mini lemon bars my coworker gave me. I guess I need to switch to a fall vibe soon. 😉

My mood is a little sad that tomorrow is Monday—I really could use an extra day off.

This will be my pick for September‘s #SeasonalCozies
It takes place in September, is first in a series (Merry Muffin Mysteries) & it‘s free as part of my Audible membership, so I‘m giving it a go. (Does that take on new meaning when talking about bran muffins?!) 😜💩😉

I'm always amazed at the creative back stories & settings in cozy series, and this one is especially unique. Merry is a former model and stylist who has inherited an ancestral castle in upstate NY. She goes there to prepare the castle for sale. In Autumn Vale, Merry finds there is a lot to learn about the past. Did her uncle murder his business partner? Was her uncle's death an accident?
Both serious & kooky with lots of free spirited characters.

An okay book & an easy read that doesn't require much involvement & is easy to put down.
