They think she's mad. They're right. After returning from Wonderland again, Alice Liddell has been sent to the Facility-an asylum specially designed for others like her. Such fantasies are no longer suitable for a girl of seventeen, or so they tell her. Everyone around her demands she be sensible. Her story has been twisted for the entertainment of children. But Alice knows the truth. She won't be moved to sensibility. And she's not the only one. Along with her new friends, Alice is thrust into a journey to save the Mad Hatter from the Queen of Hearts. But things are never so easy. Alice quickly discovers her fate is tied closer to her fellow Facility escapees than any of them could've imagined. Stories weave together in unexpected ways as Alice and her friends find themselves deep in something that effects far more than just Wonderland. This is just the beginning.

Pickpick

This is the second Alice in Wonderland series I‘ve started that connects to other classics in this case Peter Pan and Little Red Riding Hood. And I have to say I think it‘s been cleverly done. This is not a long read and I feel in order to feel complete the other titles will need to be read. Which I plan on doing. #aliceinwonderlandchallenge #readingchallenge2022

1. I don't typically remember my dreams, but when I do they really stay with me so I never feel the need to write them down.

2. Black cat named Salem

3. Jane Eyre

4. Wonderland

5. I'll definitely spread the love, but as I don't know any children at the moment it would be very creepy to encourage them to tell me a story.

Cover WIN😍

For a short book, it took me forever to read! The Alice elements & that of other popular tales (i.e. Peter Pan & Little Red Riding Hood) were great, but I often felt the story lagging & leaving gaps/unanswered questions. It IS a series, but I'm uncompelled to continue to read the adventure. The author is young, & there were some high points, but it just wasn't my cup of tea (no pun intended).
