I liked this one better than the other one, mainly because we get to see the Beast's thoughts throughout this story. He's always been one of my favorite characters, and I was glad to see some light shed upon him!

This comic is called "The Beast's Tale," but it's actually just a repeat of "Belle's Tale" with maybe two different pages. Instead of giving us all of the Beast's background and telling the story entirely from his point of view, we just get a repeat of everything we read from Belle's perspective. And, just like the other one, there was a huge watermark on every page.

This is a two volume set. Volume 1 tells the story from Belle‘s point of view, and volume two we see the Beast‘s side. Tokyopop has taken the new movie and try to put it in manga form. You know what, stop this. In trying to reinvent Tokyopop and bring it back to the powerhouse it once was, stop ruining beloved Disney stories.

rubyslippersreads I have these as ARCs from Netgalley, but haven't read them yet. 🤔 7y
LibrarianRyan @rubyslippersreads they are hard to read. See the giant water mark? On EVERY PAGE! I did complain about that too. 7y
