Chill Saturday nights are for puzzles and reading.
Our new place is still a total mess (still haven't had time to really unpack much!) but it's slowly getting there (ish). Taking a break to read a little, something else I haven't had any time for. I haven't gotten very far in this book, but it's quite interesting so far!
If you like somewhat post-apocalyptic graphic novels.. Might I suggest Spill Zone. It's kinda creepy, kinda dark, but it had me hooked and I'm hoping the next part of the story won't take too long to get here! Seriously, this was far too quick a read, but I'm intiriged.

I believe books are a brilliant and easy way to learn about things you are ignorant to or just don't understand. Books give us a chance to walk in someone else's shoes and explore the world outside of our neighborhood. Reading exposes us to different ideas, ways of thinking, and this ideally makes us more compassionate and well rounded.
Saints and Misfits is just one of the books I've come across lately that I think exemplify this.
pickSo yeah, I like reading some of the newer SW novels that explore stories outside of the movies. Guys, the SW universe is HUGE, and that's part of why I love it.
Rebel Rising is Jyn Erso's story prior to Rogue One; being raised by Saw Gerrera, being exposed to his extremist views, the rebellion, and seeing the toll the extremist from both sides have on the galaxy.

Been on a bit of a graphic novel and comics kick the past 2 weeks. Ted wanted in on it too. They're easier and quicker when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Plus I've just wanted to invest more time in discovering more graphic novels, a genre I've largely ignored most of my life, but there is some awesome stuff out there!

Anyone have a strong opinion about which order Chronicles should be read in?? This set is in order by publication, personally, I preferred to read them in chronological order! But then again I also really liked The Magician's Nephew which I've been told is "the boring one," so what do I know? ?

Day 4: notebooks/journals #riotgrams I own an absurd amount of journals/blank books, many of which have not yet been touched. The journals I currently have in use go to tracking what books I'm reading (or want to read) and my thoughts about whichever books I've just finished. Notebooks are nice to have on hand when reading a book I start to really love, like Hi, Anxiety, to write down whatever thoughts, revelations, inspirations may come.
