Killing time in a car park waiting to go to a meeting i thought id catch up and post about a book i want to read after hearing the author speak on several podcasts. The story of a sufragette suffering through the cat and mouse laws.

I heard about it on this podcast (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08ffvp8) available on itunes under the BBC Books and Authors archives....
This book sounds so good...

Very good. A bit hard to get into at first as I wasn't sure about the perspective the story it was coming from but that was soon cleared up. A bit hard to read in places due to its subject matter but in the end it was gripping and worth a read.
