Every year the husband and I go to the Cinco de Mayo festival on the waterfront. Every year I wait to eat an Elotè and Mexican fruit (like juice and chili fruit).
It never disappoints!
CNN shared this article about weird question regarding Cinco de Mayo and this one made me laugh because some people think that this is racist at all especially if they are wearing it for Cinco de Mayo.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Celebrated last week while my friend was visiting by going to Old Town San Diego. Old Town is a state historic park featuring a Mexican pueblo that turned into an American frontier town in the 1800's. Proud to have been able to share my heritage with her.
