It's still summer-like temps in NC but this book gave me some great chills! I found Link's short stories to be just enough of a mixture of odd and wonderful, spooky and endearing. #neabigread #prettymonstersisprettyawesome

I loved this book despite it's bittersweet story. A pandemic sweeps the world and very few people survive. We follow a few who have and the intersection of their lives. It's not only the story St John Mandel tells, but the way she tells it. Her writing is heavenly! ❤️
Super excited about my #botm pics! Thanks @allthingskayla for convincing to buy Circe!❤️
1. Really liked the orig Harry Potter series covers
2. From which era!?! 😂 Georgia O'Keeffe is a fav but I just went to Monet's house and feel in love all over again.
3. The one's my children do (awwww...😉)
4. Musée de l'Orangerie - small and doable but does not disappoint! ❤️
Loved this one @JoScho ... Thank you! #manicmonday
Don't you love it when you walk into the library and all the goodies you wanted to buy from #BOTM or Amazon are sitting right there!?! I LOVE that! 😂
I saw a few of you liked this #KristinHannah book so I'm excited to dig in. #thegreatalone #rainydayreading #libraryscore
I finished it! I finished it!
I liked parts of this book... Like Hazel and the math/science...But the male characters, for the most part, were annoying. Not my favorite read but had some good twists and turns. I liked the ending - last 50 pages or so were probably the best. #thatsawrap #readytomoveon
I'm really trying here... I feel like I should like this book but...yeah... I'm over it. I'm so close to the finish, I'm just head down, gettin' it done! #trappednbookhell #tooinvestednow #cantwaittoreachpage333
1. No, not yet but I'd love to join in!
2. I've always like Paige or Kat... But I like my name... If I didn't have to change all my ID's, I'd change the spelling so it was French - Aimée
3. Hmmm... It's not new but I heard Float On by Modest Mouse today and reminded how much I like it! 😉

@GarthRanzz - that was fun! Thanks!
I love #botm! Who's reading this one for April? I'm looking forward to the read! 😁📚
I was hooked from the get-go... Good, quick read... Perfect for a book club. This was my first read by St. James and I enjoyed it! Not a spoiler here:
I liked Fiona, the main character, and her quest to learn more about her sister's death, as well as, the creepy and defunct Idlewood girls school. St. James adds a bit of historical fiction when she touches on Ravensbrück, the all women and children concentration camp. Side note: Mary is waiting...
So excited to be on @Litsy! I did not know this community existed until #LT announcement. Here's my first post... That's just 1 stack on my night stand. 2 more are underneath ? I'm reading "the teenage brain" and "the hearts invisible furies"... It's all about balance, right?!?
Looking forward to being in this community! ❤️?❤️
