I did really like this espionage-style story, but there was just one plot point at the end with the main villain that made me go, "Huh?" So I had to knock a star off for that. But it was a fun read (if you don't mind heads exploding and lots of stabby parts).

An improvement on the first volume, this keeps the dynamic art, excellent action, and gorgeous colors, but added a more dynamic story. It does run into some trouble I‘m diving into a couple continuity issues without explaining them, leaving some relationships wildly underdeveloped, but this was definitely a fun read regardless.

#newauthor I'm loving these comics about Black Widow. Only problem is that I'm going to have to wait a while until I get the next one as my funds are running low - I've bought too many books! #bookaholicproblems. @Tiffy_Reads #splashintosummerreads

Great fight sequences. Love the Red Room background and the assist from Winter Soldier. Not sure about Nick Fury leaving cryptic messages on the moon?

Weave I wish they would make a Black Widow movie ~ she has such a great story👍🏻 7y
AlizaApp @Weave agreed! I want an origin story especially. 7y
Weave Me too @AlizaApp a lot of potential with an origin story x 7y

I love a good black widow adventure. And this one was top of the line. With cool backstory and great fight-art.

In case you can't tell, I'm on a real Black Widow kick, I only wish there were more comics to read. There are some really pretty fight scenes in this one and a really great ending.
