Yesterday was so rushed, & I finally got home towards midnight, so I've borrowed Alaska's timezone to take my time and finish opening my #summersantagoespostal #summersolsticebookexchange gifts & take some better photos. Needless to say, 💛💛💛💛💛 Mr Happy makes me smile, the bookplates are fab (& I don't have any!), the bookmark's gorgeous, and another photo if the bookzleeve which, I might have mentioned, I quite like! @TrishB

Roger Hargreaves writer of the classic Mr Men and Little Miss books was born on this day in 1935, unbelievably almost 30 years since he died but the books very much live on.
Also two other authors that are no longer with us also share this anniversary - J. M. Barrie, writer of Peter Pan, and Richard Adams, writer of Watership Down. Both of these are such classics!

Lmstraubie My students LOVE the Little Miss & Little Mr. books. Mine collection is falling apart, but I have a hard time finding them in the States through my vendors. 7y
